This is meant to inform you and the rest of the veteran community of primary government/public resources and nation-wide non-profit organizations aimed at bringing us together socially as well as support our mental and physical health is more of a collective way.
Department of Veteran Affairs
The VA is a federal agency that provides free services and benefits, health care, and cemetery service to military Veterans.
Veterans of Foreign Wars
A non-profit organization, with locations nation-wide, that provide programs and services to support veterans, services members and their families. VFW also makes efforts every year to affect national policy concerning the military and veteran community.
The American Legion
The American Legion is the nation's largest wartime veterans service organization aimed at advocating for the U.S. Military and Veteran community through diverse programs to support education, social engagement, employment, mental health, and more.
Mission 22
Mission 22 provides support to veterans and their families when they need it most: right now. Through a comprehensive approach of outreach, events, and programs, Mission 22 promotes long-term wellness and growth.
